Noah Smith.
Noah has been working in the creative industry for over 20 years, making a positive difference to organisations, whether startups or established businesses, is his core strength. Noah is an experienced business mentor, coach and NED. An alumnus and mentor to the Exec MBA programme at CASS business school, also an alumnus of Cranfield School of Management, where he was a participant on the Business Growth Programme.

Christian Rayner.
Christian cut his professional teeth in the IT industry working for blue-chip organisations, including ten years at Microsoft, holding senior positions in sales, marketing and international business development. He went on to start his own dotcom and now specialises in mentoring start-ups and SMEs looking to develop and grow their businesses. Most useful insight gained from his big company/small company background: the one has to think like the other!
Since 2013, Christian has worked as a part-time business advisor at UCL Innovation and Enterprise, providing advice and mentoring to UCL students, staff and alumni seeking to start a business. His main strengths are his approachability, his breadth of business knowledge, coupled with an ability to quickly identify challenges and opportunities, and his focus on results. He is also passionate about his subject matter: helping start-ups and small businesses succeed and grow, and has developed strong links to the London innovation and enterprise support ecosystem.
Jorg Roth.
A serial entrepreneur with a background in the creative industries.
Born and bred in Cologne Jorg began his career as a producer for RTL, German TV, before moving to London to be a freelance correspondent in 1995.
In 1998 he founded Bullseye TV, a production and distribution business that operated globally. Bullseye produced TV shows for the UK and US market and sold the rights worldwide. In 2007 the business got acquired by Sweden’s Zodiak AB and Jorg, for the first time in his life, found himself becoming a corporate beast and enjoying it. After another merger with an Italian-French business Jorg became COO Entertainment of a group of companies which now turned over €500m per annum.
Since leaving this post Jorg has started or helped to start four more businesses and one charity across a variety of sectors such as hospitality, digital marketing, design and healthcare and continues to look for opportunities to help small businesses with his main focus being B2C.
Christina Richardson.
Christina is a bit of a marketing pro, as well as an all round make-stuff-happen type. She spent much of her career managing and growing FMCG brands worth in excess of £100 million and then turned her hand to startups and has never looked back since. She’s passionate about helping entrepreneurs and SMEs with practical marketing training and advice, and has also co-founded two technology start-ups herself so knows first-hand what it is like to launch and grow a new business. Her first technology business launched in 2012 and was acquired by Enterprise Nation in 2015; her second was acquired by a large corporation early 2017.
Today she teaches Entrepreneurial Marketing for UCL whilst also testing new startup ventures. As well as this she is an active mentor at Bathtub2Boardroom and is a trustee for young charity Breadwinners.
Duncan.
Duncan is an entrepreneur, 2 time co-founder, business advisor and mentor. He has worked for more than 25 years in the UK, Australia, Asia, and the US.
His primary business skills include planning, sales and marketing, product development and talent acquisition. Basically, getting stuff done. Duncan co-founded and managed 2 businesses for 15 years. Most recent as the CEO & CTO of MyCognition, a disruptive HealthTech /EdTech startup. During this time he developed MVP’s and worked in clinical trials to help validate the products.
Previously, Duncan co-founded BizCarta Australia, an IT services consulting firm, which specialised in working for blue-chip organisations. Duncan developed BizCarta Australia from start-up through to sale. Duncan served on the board of the Sydney chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organisation for 3 years and has been a technology advisor to a number of companies involved in M&A activities.
Julia Tybura.
Julia is a successful entrepreneur, board director and charity trustee with over 25 years’ experience in HR, Organisational Development and general management roles. She is passionate about people management and development and how they transform organisations and services. Julia brings a dynamic understanding of mentoring and coaching and how this can be applied in fast moving companies, creating long term growth.
As founder and consultant of 20 years’ standing, Julia has consistently won work, particularly in difficult times and is acutely aware of the processes of growing companies. Julia grew her business from £75k to £1.5m in 9 years and brought in 80% of the business. She has a deep understanding of how to grow a successful business in highly competitive markets.
Philippa Seal.
Philippa Seal MCIM MA MBA is a Chartered Marketer and senior strategic business advisor. Her broad, practical business experience has been in SMEs, as an owner and entrepreneur, starting and running her own successful digital marketing agency. It is further underpinned by an MBA from Cass Business School.
A catalyst for change, she has 20 years plus business experience and has helped ambitious startups and growing business owners shape their businesses.
Her particular skill lies in turning strategic business direction into immediate short and medium term practical goals. She is able to mobilise and motivate individuals around a common business goal, enabling companies to grow better and faster. Her marketing background is invaluable in finding and developing customers ensuring the business grows sustainably. Sam Richardson.
Sam has enjoyed a near 20 year career in and around the creative and marketing industries. He most recently built up experiential and social media agency, BMB Neon, through to its sale and integration at BMB agency and successfully exited in March 2014.
Sam is experienced in a wide range of marketing disciplines, both in-house and agency side, mostly within the lifestyle, entertainment, music, media, tech and youth sectors. He has the many management learnings of being the co-owner and sole management decision maker of a creative agency, from start to sale.
Sam has worked within a range of organisations, from large corporate media structures such as MTV/ Viacom through to smaller nimble creative businesses of between 15-150 people, as well as in running and growing his own business. With clients that have included brands such as MTV, Paramount, Xbox, Microsoft Windows, BT Vision, Carling, Budweiser, Smirnoff, Puma, Philips, Warner Music International, V Festivals, Virgin Megastores, XFM.
Howard Brecker.
Howard is one of London’s most reputable commercial property experts. He founded and ran his property agency for over 40 years and developed it into one of Central London’s most recognised and successful property brands, Robert Irving and Burns, with an annual turnover in excess of £3 million, employing over 50 people and servicing some of London’s leading names within the property industry.
Howard’s core skills are based around his continued interest in developing young entrepreneurs into great businessmen and women and mentoring ambitious owner managers who need help in growing their businesses. Creating business development strategies, building networks, designing solutions that create tangible value and his experience in running a successful business in a highly competitive market….. is what Howard is expert at!
