Christian Rayner.
Christian cut his professional teeth in the IT industry working for blue-chip organisations, including ten years at Microsoft, holding senior positions in sales, marketing and international business development. He went on to start his own dotcom and now specialises in mentoring start-ups and SMEs looking to develop and grow their businesses. Most useful insight gained from his big company/small company background: the one has to think like the other!
Since 2013, Christian has worked as a part-time business advisor at UCL Innovation and Enterprise, providing advice and mentoring to UCL students, staff and alumni seeking to start a business. His main strengths are his approachability, his breadth of business knowledge, coupled with an ability to quickly identify challenges and opportunities, and his focus on results. He is also passionate about his subject matter: helping start-ups and small businesses succeed and grow, and has developed strong links to the London innovation and enterprise support ecosystem.
